HARRRP is hosting the HIGHFIVE "Principals of Healthy Child Development" training on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 10:00am- 5:00pm.
This training has become mandatory in most community buildings, agencies and non-profit organizations who work with children.

What is HIGHFIVE?
HIGH FIVE® is Canada's quality standard for children's programs. Before HIGH FIVE, no standard existed and there was a clear need for an innovative approach to help organizations enhance program quality and provide positive experiences for children, which would remain with them for a lifetime.

Your certification also gives you:

  • A solid foundation of knowledge to support the needs of kids in key areas like mental health, physical activity, bullying and healthy competition
  • Invaluable resources to help you plan activities and navigate challenging situations
  • Transferable skills and expertise in providing the best possible experience for kids aged 6 to 12
  • Enriching career development, with a chance to take specialized trainings and expanding your expertise in other areas like program assessment and risk management
